Rafayil Rzayev is photography and videography artist and producer based in Nakhchivan, whose work navigates two powerful themes: the enduring social impact of the region’s geographical isolation and the rich, myth-laden history of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

His artistic narratives often intertwine the everyday lives of people engaged in demanding social labor with the legendary figure of Prophet Noah, whose story is deeply rooted in the region’s cultural memory.
