When I first stepped into the classroom, I thought my job was to teach. Over the years, I’ve learned it’s about so much more—inspiring, adapting, connecting, and believing.Teaching isn’t just about transferring knowledge. It’s about unlocking curiosity, building confidence, and helping students see what’s possible—even when they can’t yet see it for themselves.

I started teaching two kids 3-5th graders because it was easy money. I made my first 15 shirvans teaching these kids.I was 17 and I really needed it. During those years when you knew English you were considered to be a Prophetic Persona. But as the days would pass my concentration switched from money to the actual kids. The day when I had to say goodbye to them was weird I felt like their older brother. I ran to the supermarket and bought them kinder surprise eggs and sat down with them realizing it was not about my goal. It was about their goals. They reached their goals. Their parent was happy. I was proud of them. I was happy to be a part of that story.I got into it for the wrong reasons, but I stayed for the right ones. Maybe our reasons are not right or wrong. Maybe they are defining on their own. We do things in order to find other things.
