When I wrote in the beginning, I had no idea. I just did what seemed to be natural. 

Major timeline of those moments:

1. Poem for my aunty (it was about her son in the military)
2. Essay about my history teacher Nazmi Duman (6th grade) 
3. Essay about Da Vinci (Eastchance Program Contest) 
4. Essay about community building and breakdancing for World Bank 
5. Keeping personal journals in English 
6. Starting the kaizen-azeri.blogspot.com 

The last one was my breakthrough moment. I planned to keep blogging for a year until I reach 20000 views. Year went by and it did not happen. After 3 more months my friend Orkhan (who helped me with the blog) calls me and says “check your profile”. It was crazy. 76k views in one night. 20k the next day. My blog post about office spaces which had Steve Jobs photo in the beginning hit the jackpot. 

It was first time when I got paid 100 Euros (google adsense) for that post. After that moment I completely changed. Became more confident. I stopped that blog in 2015. It had 180.000+ views on it. (50+ entries) 

I knew at that moment; a book is what must be written. Idea of KVAN was born and year later executed into reality. 

KVAN has given me 10 years of joy and thousands of readers so far. 

If not for those little moments and attempts, I would never dare to write on this level.
