It is Friday morning. Only one day is left to start the 100-day challenge. It is not as easy as it seems to be. Vulnerability level skyrockets. Almost second-guessing the immediate failure of the project. Automatically asking him in my heart:

“Do you think it is good idea? Shall I do it?”

Silence. Silence is his favorite response. Usually he plays the matrix game and gives hints. Only the kind you understand. 

I am walking towards Hyatt Regency.  I will do two back-to-back sessions with corporate clients. Before the first session, HR team member will give me a book about Personality Types. We talked about it yesterday. I am heading towards the entrance of the 5-story building. 

Hyatt Regency is a place very dear to me. 

2002 – I receive my first passport to head to USA. (Given by the minister of education at that time. He told me “Karimov, go make us proud.”

2004 – I entered the famous club 1033 where we danced our hearts out with Havikoro breakdancing team from Texas. They gave me their team shirt. Iconic moment for any local bboy. 

2006 – I was shortlisted to 12 people group for BP internship. Later, missed the last interview. Mixed the date and missed the chance. (At that time, I felt it is the end of the world.) 

2009-11 – Did interpretation for the sales distributors from Malaysia. I was just an attendee but then I was pushed to stage to help with the translation. They wanted me back for the other gigs. As I stood there at the stage in front of 500 listener with the VIP speaker, I noticed that I am made for this thing. (Speaking from the heart.) 

2025 – Leadership and communication sessions with 120+ PMD managers. Unforgettable moment in my training career. 

To be short. 

This place was, is and will be special for me.

I am at the 4th floor doing session with my client. He is rehearsing his report presentation. Door knock. HR member looks at us and tells about the book. The book. Yes. She gives the bag. I put the bag on the table. I want to continue the session but I notice the bag and what it says: 

“Win 1.000.000 dollars?”  

There is a big smile on my face. My client notices the immediate aura change. I tell him the story and show him my screen photo with a 100-day challenge to get the number which is written on that bag.

We both laugh. It is Matrix. 

God has spoken to me. I am not thinking about failure or success anymore. It was the right moment to start and it was the right thing to do. 

Confidence and belief are with me. 

He is with me.
